Lining up to watch the parade:
There was a fire truck to kick things off, followed by girl scouts, cub scouts, and all sorts of other groups parading in their cars (modern and antique). The highlight was the tradition where everybody in the procession would throw candy at the viewers. Note the kids in the background (and the parents shouting, "go get candy...but watch out for the cars!"). Dahlia can't wait until she can join in on the candy-collecting fun.
Other than that, it was a lovely weekend of hanging around town. Trying on the cowgirl hat:
