Dahlia's cousin Abigail and her parents came to Austin for the holiday weekend. Dahlia was really excited when she woke up and saw Abigail!
The two cousins enjoyed eating breakfast together. Although both of them love yogurt, they have different approaches to eating it. The "D" in Dahlia does not stand for dainty -- her cousin is the one with the dainty eating habits! While Dahlia wins points for speed, Abigail has a higher accuracy rate:
After a quiet morning at home, it was time to explore Austin. Dahlia and Abigail entertained each other as they sat side-by-side in their car seats:
Their first stop was Zilker Park. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a ride on the Zilker Zephyr. Choo choo!
After all that excitement, the girls needed a nap. Abigail woke up first, and she went looking for her cousin. Dahlia, however, was still sleeping:
The two cousins had a great time together. Dahlia showed off and shared her toys. Abigail was impressed...
...but sometimes the best toys are the simplest ones. Who needs fancy stuff when you can ride around in a cardboard box?
