5 hours of sleep!

Maybe it's a trend (the night before she slept 2 4 hour stretches), maybe it's a fluke. But we'll take it! Dahlia slept a 5 hour stretch last night. We woke up confused at some point why she hadn't been woken up already and had to check to make sure she was still breathing. Thankfully breathing, just sleeping! :P

In other good news, Dahlia took her first real attempt at sucking on a bottle this morning, with 1.5 ounces going down in less than 5 minutes. Perhaps her mom will be able to back to work after all without worrying about her starving from refusing to take a bottle. Don't know if it will continue, but a very happy day!

Dahlia is now 7 weeks old! her doctor's visit is this Thursday, and we're eager to find out how much she's grown (she feels quite heavy!)

Waving hi with dad on Sunday morning:

It's a bird...It's a plane...it's SuperDahlia!
Dahlia used to love getting wrapped up in her swaddle. Now she enjoys breaking out of her swaddle, giving a good stretch, but then getting upset because her limbs are moving while she's trying to fall asleep. Hopefully she'll learn to like her limbs soon b/c the swaddles are getting harder to do...

The long awaited passport is here! Dahlia has her beret on for her visit to the French side of St. Martin (okay, fine, it looks more like a chef hat, and it's not really on...her head has gotten pretty big!)
