First - the long awaited, "sleeping through the night" - for 2 consecutive nights, she has had a 6 hour sleep stretch. We hope this is a trend that continues.
In other news, Dahlia has now taken the bottle 3 consecutive times. The only problem is that we introduced so many variables at the same time, we're not sure which one(s) are responsible. The first success came when she was being fed by our neighbor, with a new bottle (the only one that our neighbor's daughter would suck on), lying flat on her back, very hungry (4.5hrs), with a distracting rattle overhead. We're gradually experimenting to see what it will take - thankfully, so far it's not just our neighbor who can do the feeding, and doesn't require somebody to be doing a dance and rattling above her head.
some pictures of the unorthodox eating position, and our attempts to gradually get her to raise her head.
