No trip to southern California would be complete without a trip to Disneyland. Dahlia's inaugural visit came courtesy of her mom's friends Marina and Vanessa. Marina is a Disney employee (or, as they call it, a "castmember"), so they were fabulous hosts!

...on her way to Cinderella's castle!
Dahlia seemed both confused and entranced by the rides:

...visited Hunnyland with Winnie the Pooh...
...and met Pluto (who was actually a bit scary)! Dahlia loved staring at Pluto, but she wasn't exactly thrilled when it was her turn to take a picture with him.
Dahlia greatly preferred visiting Minnie Mouse's house, maybe because Minnie wasn't there for pictures. Minnie had left her computer on, however, and Dahlia enjoyed checking Minnie's email. The note on the screen says, "Dear Minnie, Just writing to say we're nuts about you, Chip and Dale."
Taking in all of the sights was hard work, so when Dahlia needed a burst of energy she enjoyed a Mickey-shaped ice cream treat. It looks like she enjoyed it almost as much as her mom did:
After her snack, Dahlia had plenty of energy to run down the streets of California Adventure Park (which is basically across the street from Disneyland). She's moving so quickly that the camera can barely keep up with her!

California Adventure park was great. Dahlia danced to a live performance of "Playhouse Disney." She loved the music and the puppet show.
As evening approached, Dahlia settled down in her VIP seat...
...to watch a fascinating parade of Pixar characters!
After a long, hard day of rides, shows, and parades, Dahlia wanted nothing more than a shoulder to sleep on. She loved Disneyland. We'll be back again!
