Dahlia's parents still managed to find some time to partake in one of the most important traditions in Austin - attending a UT football game. They were overwhelmed by the sea of burnt orange and pride on a beautiful, sunny fall day.
For those of you who have never been to a Texas Longhorns football game, here are two of the most striking sights you'll see there. The first one is the parade of cheerleaders who run across the end zone after every Texas score. Dahlia's parents saw the Longhorns play Central Florida, so they could count on seeing it every few minutes. The second one is a very, very large Texas state flag. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas:
Meanwhile, Dahlia's class had a Thanksgiving celebration in mid-November. Dahlia put her orange sweatshirt and her headdress on and was ready to go:
