Fun in the Sun at Rehoboth Beach

Once it was finally summer, Dahlia and Jonah traveled to the East Coast for a trip to the beach. On their flight to Maryland Jonah lucked out and got a window seat even though his parents hadn't bought him a ticket. It may have been in the very last row of the plane, but to Jonah it felt like he was in first class. He entertained himself by watching all of the activity as the plane was prepared for departure, and then he settled in for a nice refreshing drink:

After a long flight to Baltimore and an even longer drive from Baltimore to Rehoboth Beach, everyone was ready to relax and have some dinner. Everyone, that is, except Dahlia. As soon as they arrived at their destination, Dahlia hopped up and down in excitement and insisted that the first order of business was to check out the beach. She finally convinced her dad to put on his bathing suit and join her for some fun in the (setting) sun:

They had the beach to themselves:

Dahlia and Jonah made the trip to Rehoboth so they could reconnect with some of their favorite people: cousins Abigail and Eloise, Aunt Lisa, and Uncle Adam. For the next few days, the group enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather. They played in the sand...

...took a dip in the (extremely cold) water...

..and a had a grand old time. Jonah loved swimming in the ocean. Every morning he would wake up, get dressed, and sit in his float, waiting for somebody to take him out for a swim!
