Back to Maryland

Dahlia got home from her New Mexico trip, repacked, and departed for Maryland the following weekend. Her mother had a business trip in the DC area, so Dahlia and her dad flew into town a couple of days later to join her.

One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see cousin Abigail again! Sharing a book with Abigail:

Dahlia also got to see Ethan again, this time on his home turf. Even though he didn't appreciate it when Dahlia stole his toys, he was still a fun playmate:

Dahlia also went to a local playground while her mom and dad spent time with their friends Ben and Donna:

And then, just like that, the weekend was over! Dahlia and her parents went back to Austin. There was a lost baggage incident on the way home, but thankfully the airline eventually found Dahlia's precious, brand-new UT car seat and returned it to her. What a relief!
