White Sands National Monument

After her trip to the caverns, Dahlia enjoyed a brief stay in Las Cruces, where her parents went to a wedding (congratulations, Magda and Dan!). Dahlia had a blast with her babysitter, who let her stay up an hour-and-a-half past her bedtime. Las Cruces sure is a party town!



After spending the night in Las Cruces, Dahlia visited White Sands National Monument. Over the course of her trip, the scenery changed from desert to green mountains to sand dunes:
