Dahlia Stands

Dahlia is a girl of many skills. She can pull herself up. She can move chairs across the room. And now, she can stand on her own two feet. It won't be long before she is running everywhere!


Giving the "thumbs-up" sign (also known as the Fonzie). Enough of this holding on to chairs and people. She's ready to let go!



Standing on her own outside of a Ben & Jerry's (which explains the grainy picture that was taken on a camera phone). Maybe she was inspired by the smell of Chunky Monkey:



Dahlia practiced standing all weekend long. She became so confident that she even clapped while standing:

Dahlia also FINALLY took a ride on the Zilker Zephyr, the mini-train that goes around Zilker Park here in Austin:



Dahlia was entertained...but also a little baffled. Oh well, maybe she'll ride it again in another year or two.
