Shortly after Aunt Erica headed back to Chicago, Saba came to Austin for a visit. Dahlia was under the weather and uncharacteristically cranky, but Saba took it all in stride and kept Dahlia company. What a good sport!
While Saba was in town, Dahlia took her fans to the "Grandparents and special friends brunch and art show" at her school. At brunch she paid homage to her Jewish heritage by devouring an incredible amount of lox:
After brunch it was time to take a stroll through the art exhibition. Dahlia and her classmates (she's in the Dolphin room) put together some real masterpieces for the occasion:

Of course Dahlia couldn't let Saba leave town without reading her some books. Why let a perfectly good lap go to waste?

Dahlia also took Saba to Auditorium Shores and the nearby fountains. She wasn't quite dressed for the water, but that didn't stop her:
After a busy day, it was time for another trip for some BBQ, this time to County Line on the Hill in Austin. Dahlia wasn't a big fan of the "talking cow" mounted on the wall inside the restaurant, but she had a great time out on the patio:
Of course Dahlia couldn't let Saba leave town without reading her some books. Why let a perfectly good lap go to waste?
