Road Trip Part Two: New York

Dahlia and Jonah continued traveling up the East Coast, stopping in Rye for a week-long visit with their grandparents. Jonah was especially delighted to reunite with his ojiichan, whom he rewarded with some winning smiles:

Meanwhile, Dahlia was especially delighted to reunite with her cousin Eli. Even though the two of them hadn't seen each other for eight months, they picked up right where they left off. Here they're taking a break from running around to sing their ABCs -- the acoustics were especially good in the foyer of the building, and Eli's neighbors really appreciated the impromptu concert:

Cousin Evelyn patiently watched everything. Don't let the calm exterior fool you. In a few months, Evelyn will be tearing it up with Dahlia and Eli:

Dahlia and Eli decided to cap off a great day by doing one of their favorite things --eating ice cream. Eli looked very dapper with his chocolate goatee, while Dahlia preferred the strawberry soul patch look. Some of the ice cream even made it into their bellies!
