Happy Hanukkah!

Dahlia couldn't believe her luck. It was Hanukkah, which meant that lots of gifts arrived in the mail.

Yay! Cousin Abigail sent me the toy that I loved to play with during Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the drum, Aunt Erica. Now I have a piano, maracas and a drum. I'm on my way to being a one-girl band!

Wait a second...I see one more thing in this box. It's Hanukkah gelt (coin-shaped chocolate)! Maybe I should take a bite of it before my parents notice that I'm eating chocolate. I don't think there's time to remove the wrapper...
