Yamada Family Vacation in Puerto Rico

Every year the Yamada family goes on a vacation during the week of Christmas. This year, they went to Puerto Rico for some fun in the sun. Dahlia and her family spent a couple of days on the main island before heading to the island of Vieques for four days.
Digging in the sand:

Lounging on a chair between her parents and checking out the ocean:

On her previous beach trip in August, Dahlia was afraid of the ocean. This time, Dahlia got over her fear of the waves and eventually wandered into the water:

Of course the best part of the trip was spending quality time with her relatives. Here are Aunt May, Cousin Eli, Ojichan, and Aunt Lisa relaxing on the beach:

Uncle Dan, Cousin Eli, and Obachan on their trip to the bioluminescent bay in Vieques. Yes, that is Dahlia passed out in the back:

A family portrait from the last night of the trip:

Dahlia (and her parents) had a great time in Puerto Rico. Special thanks to Aunt Erica, who was the MVP of the trip. Erica was the photographer, the cook, and the on-the-fly travel agent who traveled through two snowstorms and booked impromptu tickets to get herself and the family to Puerto Rico after endless delays. Thank you, Erica, for making this trip a huge success!
