Jonah Starts to Figure Things Out

By January, Jonah was nine months old and starting to figure out what he liked (and didn't like) to do with his time. One of his favorite activities was playing in the bath. He especially enjoyed playing with the faucet:




He also started crawling in earnest and figured out that life is better when you're mobile. Once he started moving, he didn't stop!



There were pros and cons to his new mobility. On the plus side, it was easier to check out the handsome little guy in the mirror...



...but on the minus side things didn't always work out as planned. Jonah followed in the footsteps of new crawlers everywhere by getting stuck in strange places. Fortunately his big sister was usually ready to lend him a hand:



As Jonah became more mobile, he also became a more entertaining playmate for his sister. Dahlia was especially fond of putting stickers on him from head to toe, and when she couldn't find her stickers she gave him her ladybug ears:

Fortunately Dahlia was a pretty good sport about it. Most of the time, at least:
